Paul has over 40 years' experience in the construction industry and has worked both in the field and in management positions. Before moving into education, he gained an advanced City & Guilds qualification in the woodworking sector and worked in sawmills, in a bespoke joinery business and later as managing director of a company that designed, built and installed windows. His extensive experience in the building trade has given him a deep understanding of the industry. For the past 26 years, Paul has dedicated himself to teaching and leading continuing education programs to help students enter the construction industry. One of his major accomplishments was the creation and management of the On-Site Assessment and Training (OSAT) department. This innovative department, established during the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) era, enabled students to gain practical experience alongside their studies. Paul's extensive experience with OSAT and his long history in construction training make him a valuable member of our team. He continues to share his knowledge and support the development of future construction professionals to ensure they are well equipped for success in the industry.
